Mediterranean kitchen with sea views

MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN WITH SEA VIEWS

The Denise Hamilton Designs studio entrusted us with the integral design of the kitchen, a kitchen with a Mediterranean flavour to match the stunning setting overlooking the Medes Islands. Luminosity and visual continuity became the unquestioned focal points of this project.

The kitchen furnishings were organised into two distinct areas. On the one hand, the water area, which was extended in front of the window, with integrated dishwasher, recycling module and space for organising cleaning accessories. At the end of this shelf there is a column unit with interior illumination for small electrical appliances. On the other end, the island was placed in the centre of the room with a bar extension for breakfasts and quick snacks. The owners chose to combine the stainless steel worktop with our KOLDTRA model in black with integrated oak handle.

To facilitate organisation and complement the storage capacity of the island, several tall units were added to the room to house the fridge, freezer and pantry as well as an illuminated display cabinet in the same layered black and oak wood with electric opening to protect all the glassware.

For its outdoor kitchen, and taking into account the presence of saltpetre in homes near the sea, REKKER employed its ROKA model, with its structures made entirely of aluminium. This is a model that we have developed primarily for outdoor use and is highly resistant to corrosion and extreme temperatures. In addition to being a very light and recyclable material, aluminium allows us to install an outdoor kitchen with every guarantee.

In addition to the interior and exterior kitchen of the house, the Denise Hamilton Designs studio decided to once again rely on the skills and technology of REKKER to create the integral furnishings for the entire house, thus customising and adapting to the specific needs of each room.
